Must-Visit Landmarks

Czar Peter House (Czaar Peterhuisje)- One of the oldest wooden houses in the Netherlands, built in 1632. It’s famous for hosting Russian Czar Peter the Great in 1697. Look for the names of world leaders, including Napoleon, carved into the windows.

A’DAM LOOKOUT (Amsterdam)- Just a short train ride and a free ferry away, this tower offers a 360° view of Amsterdam. For the brave, “Over the Edge” is Europe’s highest swing, dangling you 100 meters above the ground.

THIS IS HOLLAND (Amsterdam North)- Located right next to the A’DAM Lookout, this 5D flight simulation lets you “fly” over the Netherlands’ most beautiful landmarks, complete with wind, mists, and scents.

Zaantheater- Located just a short walk from the hotel, this is the cultural heart of Zaandam. It hosts a diverse range of performances, including world-class dance, theater, and concerts. The building itself offers stunning views of the Zaan River.

Filmtheater De Fabriek- For a more relaxed evening, visit this boutique cinema. It’s housed in an old school building and focuses on art-house films, world cinema, and documentaries. Their riverside terrace is one of the best spots for a pre-movie drink.
